Operational Excellence

Course Aims:
The Operational Excellence programme is a concise 5 day course which gives an introduction to the basic skills, knowledge and understanding required by today’s peace keeping personnel at their workplace. The 4 course units are designed to develop and inculcate practical techniques for tackling problems, managing time and undue stress and duress. The course also focuses on developing effective communication and reporting skills and also deals with customer satisfaction and conflict resolution skills.

– Delivery ~ 5 X Days

On Site and Off Site (UAE and GCC)

Target Group:
The Operational Excellence course is a programme specially designed to give practicing or aspiring Police Officers/Peace Keeping Staff a solid foundation in their formal development.

Course Vision:
To improve the attitude and work efficiency of police or peace keeping personnel to make them people friendly, service oriented and effectively manage stress and time to accomplish the day to day tasks.

Course Objectives

  • To make the police personnel aware about the nuances of their own attitudes and behaviour and changes required them.
  • To inculcate in them a citizen-friendly, service-oriented attitude and improve the service delivery of the police.
  • To improve the inter-personnel relations among the police personnel and various internal departments.
  • To reduce the stress level of police personnel.
  • To improve the role perception and role effectiveness of the police personnel.
  • To encourage police personnel to adopt a problem solving approach.
  • To develop positive attitude and social skills.
  • To improve the emotional intelligence of police personnel.
  • To effectively manage time and duress
  • To improve the communication skills and learn how to prepare comprehensive reports of an incident.
  • To effectively resolve conflicts and objective resolution

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements, but participants ideally should be from the target group of peace keeping personnel with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background which will enable them to benefit from the programme.
